Here are five new friends from Northern Norway\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Northern Norway has an abundance of friendly, non-threatening wildlife. From Vega\u2019s eider ducks to Svalbard\u2019s Arctic foxes, you\u2019ll be charmed by some and in awe of others. Here are some of our friends<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sperm whales are giants in the sea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sperm whales in Vester\u00e5len. The mothers tend the family groups down in the Azores, then send the strong males up to the cold waters of Vester\u00e5len to eat cephalopods. When patriarch Glenn is feeding in Bleiksdjupet, the youngsters stay away! This tasty monster from the Pacific Ocean was released into the Barents Sea by Russians in the 1960s. In the Polar Park in Bardu you can go into the wolves\u2019 enclosure, kneel down and do some sloppy French-kissing.
