Buses go to almost all inhabited places in Northern Norway.\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Here is an overview of useful buses for travellers. As timetables are changed ahead of every summer season and again when the schools start up in the autumn, we have avoided going too much into detail. All the details are found in the seach engines of the three provinces of the north (see below), but this will hopefully help you know what to look for. From the stations along the Nordland Train Line, there are buses to the coastal communities of Helgeland. Notably:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leave the train in Grong, Tr\u00f8ndelag, for a bus to Br\u00f8nn\u00f8ysund<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave the train in Mosj\u00f8en for a bus to Sandnessj\u00f8en. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-from-fauske-you-go-north-by-bus\">From Fauske you go north by bus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fauske, just ahead of the region centre Bod\u00f8, is where you take the bus from when going further north. Buses to Narvik await every arrival, and at the Bognes ferry dock, ahead of Narvik, there are onward connections via the Bognes-L\u00f8dingen ferry to Sortland\/Vester\u00e5len and the Swedish and European network. To explore the area, there are 1 to 2 buses a day between Alta, Hammerfest and Honningsv\u00e5g (with buses to Nordkapp\/the North Cape). There is also a daily bus to Lakselv\/Karasjok. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-four-weekly-buses-go-alta-kirkenes\">Four weekly buses go Alta-Kirkenes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alta-Karasjok bus continues 4 times a week to Kirkenes.
