Trains from Scandinavia to Northern Norway<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From Oslo and Trondheim<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Nordland Railway, Nordlandsbanen, is the northern end of the Norwegian rail network. You can take a train from Oslo to Trondheim, then change for the Nordland Railway through Mosj\u00f8en<\/a>, Mo i Rana and Fauske to Bod\u00f8<\/a>. From Stockholm and Kiruna<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Ofoten Railway, Ofotbanen<\/a>, is an extension of the Swedish rail network. Night trains leave Stockholm for Boden\/Lule\u00e5, Kiruna, the winter sport resort of Riksgr\u00e4nsen and Narvik<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book your tickets at the home page of the Swedish National Railways<\/a>. For shorter trips across the border, you can also buy tickets from a machine at the railway station in Narvik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Narvik to the Swedish Border<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bus from Finland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There is no such thing as a long distance bus from Southern Norway. However, you can cross the border in the far north by bus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
