Northern Norway and Svalbard are jam-packed with spectacular hiking trails that offer both dazzling views and peace and quiet. The queens route in Vesterålen

Takes you through spectacular, lonely landscapes along the edge of the Atlantic between Nyksund and Stø, two of the most picturesque fishing villages along the entire coast. It is named after Queen Sonja, who hiked it for the first time in 1994 and was absolutely delighted with the experience.

Hike to a remote fishing village

In Finnmark, you can on the Nordkyn peninsula and hike to an old fishing village. From the plateau you will see the North Cape from a rare and beautiful angle.
